reichstag Project - Ongoing

Listen Evolution is an ongoing co-creation between mp Warming and an international team of Evolutionary Biologists who inform the artwork.

Her concept for the project springs from the architecture of the Reichstag Dome, designed by Norman Foster as a symbol for democracy. The project culminates with a proposed art installation of ‘flags of surrender’ created from her drawings of the scientists’ ears - atop Berlin's House of Parliament - harkening to Berlin’s Dada Art Movement.

Gorenflos Flowerhaus arrives on the Grand Canal for the exhibition in the courtyard of Palazzo Albrizzi-Capello, photos by Mathias Richter. The Flowerhaus was featured in the Art/NaturSci Pavilion Warming curated.

Moth Possible Freie Universität Berlin 2011

This installation of 33 limited edition prints was created for the Philology Library designed by Foster + Partners. mp’s prints are montaged with her drawings (in red) and graphs of neuroscience and the science of music.

The installation opened for the Long Night of the Sciences. The idea was to ‘free the intelligence from the university system’ and included her ‘burying theory’ performance at midnight in the library courtyard. Her lecture was sponsored by the US Embassy Berlin. Two prints, now framed in glass, remain on permanent display in the library.
