origin of life - rains


Rains from the Origin of Life series created in 2023/24 in collaboration with Bill Martin, Director of Molecular Evolution, Heinrich-Heine University Düsseldorf. For this print Warming’s illustration is enlarged and digitally montaged with Leonardo da Vinci’s Deluge drawings.

The complete series will be showcased in the Precious Cargo Biodiversity Exhibition in Santa Marta, Colombia, Spring of 2025. Small scale images are to be presented in Martin’s book on his tested theories about how life on Earth began.
