HUMBOLDT-UNIVERSITÄT ZU BERLIN INSTALLATION BACK
Above is Warming's art at the inaugural Art + Evolutionary Biology exhibition she created for Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin's Thaer-Institut. The institute is next door to the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin where she often works with scientists. Warming's drawings of Hymenopterist Dr Ohl, Paleontologist Dr Korn, and Entomology Manager Lukas Kirschey ears are pictured here. The scientists worked with her on the Discovery Triptych (also shown above), which she created from their research and her drawings from the museum's collections. The exhibition opened in November 2017 for Berlin Science Week. Warming curated the work of 25 international artists for this location and for the 2D Annex Gallery at Campus Nord Branch Library. The exhibitions included Video and Lecture Programs. Curatorial projects are Warming's socially engaged art, more information can be found at: artscienceexhibits.com.
